In Loving Memory of Miss Chor, Our Former Principal and School Supervisor

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Miss Chor, our former Principal and School Supervisor, on 17 October 2026.

For more than fifty years, Miss Chor stood by our small school in Mei Foo, nurturing generations of children. Guided by a belief in "Advancement in Adversity, Harmony in Diversity", she cared for local students and students from ethnic minority communities alike, helping them learn together, respect one another and find a sense of belonging.

She was much more than a principal and supervisor: she was a caring elder and devoted mentor. To many teachers and alumni, she was like a mother, supporting them with kindness and encouragement. Her dedication and the close bonds she formed with students and staff are woven into our shared memories.

We will always remember her smile and guidance. We will honour her passion for education and love for children by continuing to make the school she cherished a place where every child can learn with confidence and grow with joy.

Our students, school managers, staff and alumni extend their heartfelt condolences to her family.

Details of the memorial service will be announced in due course.

深切悼念左筱霞校監 — 我們敬愛的左校長

我們懷着沉痛的心情，告知本校前校長、校監左筱霞女士於2026年10月17日安詳離世。

五十多年來，左校長與美孚這所小小的學校風雨同路，陪伴一代又一代的孩子成長。她秉持「積極奮進，和而不同」的辦學精神，關愛本地及不同族裔的學生，讓孩子在校園裏一起學習、彼此尊重，找到歸屬。

她不只是一位校長和校監，更是一位親切的長輩、用心的導師。對許多老師和校友來說，她更像一位母親，以關懷與鼓勵陪伴大家成長。她為學校付出的心血，以及與師生建立的深厚情誼，已成為我們共同記憶的一部分。

我們將永遠懷念左校長的笑容與教誨，承傳她對教育的熱誠、對孩子的關愛，讓這所她深愛的學校繼續成為孩子安心學習、快樂成長的地方。

我們全體師生、校董、教職員及校友深感哀痛，並向其家人致以深切慰問。
