OUR CURRICULUM
Our curriculum is based on the Hong Kong Education Bureau framework and enriched by school-based programmes that meet our students’ diverse backgrounds, abilities, and learning needs. With English as the medium of instruction, we emphasise language development, multilingual learning, inquiry, creativity, wellbeing and learning beyond the classroom.-
English: Storybooks, novels and a wide range of authentic texts enrich classroom learning, helping students develop strong literacy, vocabulary and communication skills. A love of reading is central to our school culture and provides a strong foundation for lifelong learning. Our English-rich learning environment encourages students to use English confidently for learning, communication, and daily school life.
-
Chinese: Developed with professional input from experts at the Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong, our school-based Chinese curriculum uses differentiated learning materials to meet students' diverse Chinese language needs. In lower primary (J1 to J3), we focus on building confidence in listening and speaking. From upper primary (J4 to J6), students place greater emphasis on reading and writing, strengthening their ability to use Chinese confidently and effectively. Students with stronger Chinese proficiency are appropriately challenged, with some attaining levels comparable to native Chinese-speaking students in local primary schools.
-
Putonghua: Students develop Putonghua communication skills through learning experiences suited to their language backgrounds and proficiency levels.
-
Primary Science and Primary Humanities: Students develop curiosity about the natural world, their community, Hong Kong, our country and the wider world through inquiry, investigation and meaningful experiences that connect classroom learning to everyday life.
-
Geography: From J4 to J6, our school-based Geography programme deepens students’ understanding of Hong Kong, our country and the wider world, fostering geographical awareness and a broader global perspective.
-
WELLness Programme: Our innovative school-based WELLness programme nurtures students' social and emotional well-being, creativity, and essential life skills through engaging activities and supportive learning.

SUPPORT for NON-CHINESE SPEAKING (NCS) STUDENTS (In Primary Section):
English is the main medium of instruction in our Kindergarten and Primary Sections. Students learn in a multilingual and multicultural school community, with support to develop the language skills needed for confident participation in learning and school life.
-
Multilingual Support: Our diverse teaching team speaks and understands languages used within our school community, including English, Cantonese, Putonghua, Hindi and Urdu. This supports communication, builds confidence and fosters a strong sense of belonging among students and families.
-
Accessible Communications: Key school communications, including school circulars and notices, are published in English and Chinese. Interpretation and translation support is available for NCS families when needed, including during parent-teacher interviews and other important home-school interactions.
-
Differentiated Chinese Learning: Our school-based Chinese curriculum recognises students’ varied levels of Chinese-language experience and proficiency. Differentiated materials and teaching help each student progress with confidence. From J4 onwards, students are regrouped according to their learning needs and proficiency, ensuring the right level of support and challenge.
